That was yesterday is moving...

I'm thinking of stopping my blog here and instead continue bloging on MSN Spaces instead.
Why?
Because:

1. MSN Live Messenger and Spaces are nicely integrated with each other.
2. MSN Spaces handling of photos is excellent.
3. Why spread content between two blogs when I can gather everything in one place instead?
4. The way Blogspot handles text and images can sometimes be frustrating since it has some kind of bug or something that makes me MAD at Blogspot!
5. MSN Spaces has some features that Blogspot don't have.

So there you go! But do not fear! I'll keep coming with new content for all of you who still are interested in reading my blog (if anyone..)! :D

Drawing breakthrough?

I'm pleased with these two drawings of the forest characters. Of course they can be much more approved but I think that they are major breakthroughs when it comes to my drawing skills..

Work work...

I've been in school from 09.00 - 22.30 today working with my mod/level in Half-Life 2 and I'm totally exhausted! And on top of that my jacket got locked up in one of the classrooms so I had to walk home without it in the rainy and cold night... :( But I'm gonna warm myself with some warm tea now and after that I'll surely feel much better and refreshed.

I ordered some cool stuff yesterday... I can't wait til the stuff arrives in my mailbox!

1. "Itchy & Scratchy" t-shirt from the Simpsons show. The cat and the rat that always kill each other in cruel ways, hehe...

2. Mort by Terry Pratchett. The fourth book in the Discworld series. I only got the first book The Colour of Magic but I felt for jumping to the fourth book which is about Death taking on an apprentice who apparently is very lazy and clumsy.

3. Neuromancer by William Gibson. A high-tech cyberpunk sci-fi adventure! AWESOME! ;D I've wanted to read this book since I first heard about it when studying culture in college three years ago and now it will be mandatory to read the first chapter for the new oncoming course. This is an excellent opportunity for me to finally read this book that is considered as one of the leading in the sci-fi sphere and that also has influenced real life research in the field.

4. Megaman Zero Official Complete Works. I think this is a great way of becoming inspired while at the same time being able to practise drawing with the help of this cool book.

I had some drinks yesterday when visiting some of my Chinese friends. But the thing was that the drinks were a mix of Absolute Vodka and tea... hehe.. needless to say, the mixture was very special.. and I got drunk as usual... hehe..

sunday.. I hate sundays..

I just want to get out of here. I'm so bored of BTH (my university/college) right now that I could just leave it all.
I'm thinking of buying two calendars and merge them so that I can make a countdown until I finish my education. That way I can put up my countdown calendar on the wall and see the exact number of days until I become truly free and can embark on the greatest adventures of them all!!!
I'll be doing cool stuff all day long and have an interesting job! That's the rough plan and all the small details will eventually be filled in. The perfect recipe for awesomeness I'll say!
I'll have patience.. for now...

Studying and writing

I've been in school now for about five hours and during that time I've sat for four hours straight in front of the computer just writing on my story, cut scene script, some small gameplay mechanics and making graphics. Some of my class mates are ordering pizza so I'll be havin one too, with ham, chesse and mushrooms, a capricciosa! :D
My story is pretty good I think, but it's hard to make a good story and at the same time prepare it for interactive media. There are so many details that must work in order to make it belivable and fun. Hard work but creative and fun at the same time.

I'm getting more things done here than at home so I think that I'll stay here for a couple more hours. And when I finally get home I can have some tacos for supper tonight since I got left overs from yesterday.

I have to party this weekend since I never partied the weekend that was. I will explode out of misery if I can't have a party, and that is not good...

Well.. back to work now... ;P

The autumn is finally here with its rainy, foggy, dark and colorful days! Autumn is my favorite season because it is a pleasant time where everything calms down just before the winter arrives. I'm thinking about going out in the nature on a really long walk, just walking a thinking a lot..

I've felt sick today and just spent the time watching episodes of The X-Files which is one of my favorite series. I'm feeling a little blunt again these days..

Wednesday's semi-party

I was really tired this wednesday so I took a beer... and after the beer I took one more.. and one more.. hehe.. And later on a friend came by with a bottle of Bailey's! I think that i had 7 beers and almost half a bottle of Bailey's that wednesday evening. Pretty crazy, but it was a great semi-party and I'm a party dude! :)

I have this cool assignment from school where I'm supposed to write a new story for one hour each day. It's very creative and maybe I'll put up one of those stories here..

Now it's friday and I'm having SUPER-boring.. it would have been nice to meet some people and eat some nice food or maybe have a couple of beers or watch a movie together but I don't have the strength to break the curse of misery that has been laid upon me... :P But anyway, I have my Forest Fruit Tea, http://www.radioseven.se/ and some movies to occupy myself with. I also have lots of school literature to read, but not tonight... Tonight I'm gonna save humanity from menacing aliens in some game.. ;)


Prisoner of Ice - Classic point and click adventure game for the old operating system Dos. The story is that you have to save humanity, kind of... and that's epic!

X-Com Apocalypse - I'm trying to get this game to work as well. In the future there's one huge last city left on earth and it is being invaded by aliens! So you have to strike down the alien threat and once again save humanity before it is TOO LATE!!! Well, it's a good strategic and tactical game and your little soldiers have very cool armor and even cooler weapons with which you blow the aliens into tiny bits with! hohoooo!! ;D

Kick ass sword!

The result from yet another drawing class. Some evil looking bad ass with a big Spawn cape and massive Conan sword. I'm very pleased with the helmet which in my eyes looks like the two horns are alive and almost as if they were growing and being one with the helmet. The upper body was also very nice I think; in the ways which the round curves of the shoulders meets the sharp but yet soft elbows.

Jeckyll & Hyde - Freefall - Woohoow! This is some really good shit! Cool dance music whose sound almost makes it feel like it is eating you! yea, you gotta hear it yourself... :)

Spontaneous Poker Championship

I met an old college friend this friday when I was out shopping in Karlskrona and it ended up with that I joined him and a couple of his friends at a small Poker Championship. :) Unfortunately I lost and became 50 kr poorer, haha! :P We went downtown to some pubs after the Poker Championship and had a couple of beers. What can I say, it was pretty awesome to be spontaneous and party in Karlskrona. :) And the day after we saw the new X-Files movie which was ok, only ok..

Perspective Drawing #3 - with colours

AAK brought to life with color

More boring perspective drawing where I tried to simplify the motive with fewer strokes which can be seen in the third and the last drawing of AAK, the "butter factory", that poisons Karlshamn with its disgusting smell... I got my hands on some color pencils so I let my fantasy loose which led to more life in the drawings, I think. AAK is composed of grey and boring concrete buildings so I felt it necessary to color the whole thing. And, yea, it looks like a five years old child has drawn these pictures... but it was fun.. ;)

Night Runner

I went out running yesterday night. Yea, I like to run in the night and especially in the dark and in the rain. Sure it can sometimes be pitch black when running in the forest by night but it's pretty cool. And, yea, sometimes I'm scared but I believe that this way of training is not only good for the body but also for the mind, mentally, that is. Let's look at running in the dark as a metaphor of being lost but in search for light. This then becomes an expression of myself through the setting and activity that could be seen as a struggle with no apparent goal within reach but that is still being fought because I have the power to do so... Hehe, well, I've probably read too many theoretical texts about mumbo jumbo... ;P
Anyways, it's very pleasant running in the rain in the middle of the night.. it calms my soul...

Disgaea 3

Disgaea 3 - Japanese version

Disgaea 3 has just arrived from Canada, woohoow! :D I'm not sure how I'm gonna have the time to play this game since it is a +100 hours game.. :P But it'll work itself out I think. As I just mentioned above, I've imported an american version of the game from Canada since the European version won't get released until 2009. This is very strange since the European version also will be in English and probably only English. But who cares... I got it now! ;D

Now I'm just waiting for the chicken meat to defrost so that I can start cooking some food... I'm starving.... ;(

Party at my place

I had some Chinese friends come over to my place this saturday and we had a very nice time. We drank some beer and ate Chinese food that was absolutely delicious! :D And I think we disturbed the neighbours since we played quite loud music, haha! But who cares, it was party time! :D Eventually we ended up at the student pub where we sat down and had one or two beers. All in all a very pleasant evening that will occur again. And yea, my classmate Mårten von Stockhaus came over too and contributed to the great party. hmmm.. my computer is starting to behave very odd.. :( I'll have to punish it! hehe.. bad computer! *punches it in it's harddrive* hehe... yea, that ought to learn it who the boss is..

I'm tired now, too many beers yesterday I guess, hehe.. It'll be pizza tonight and a couple of movies while I bury myself in the sofa. But the big question is if whether I should watch some episodes of The X-Files, Stargate Atlantis or just watch some plain old movies... hmmm.. tough decision when my brain is retarded from too much beer drinking, hoho... Maybe I will play some video games too, yea, I think I'll do that. I'm thinking of buying the racing game Burnout Paradise which is available through a download service for the Playstation 3. And when speaking about games... I ordered the japanese turn based role playing game Disgaea 3. I have only played the first Disgaea which I liked because it was filled with crazy characters, humour and exploding penguins, haha!

I've sold my Playstation 2 now along with Guitar Hero 2 and a couple of games to Mr David "the friendly school ghost", hehe.. It's nice to have those items sold because they were just standing in the closet gathering dust. And when I'll finally be leaving Blekinge and my Swedish student life it's good to not have too much stuff to take care of. The only things of any worth in my apartement is the electronics and my game and music collection, the rest is garbage, hehe.

Well, I talk too much! Now it's time for some serious slacking! yea, I'm still the "master slacker of the year!" Every year!!! :D

Running

I went out for some running/jogging and training this friday and it made me feel great! But now two days later I'm still very stiff from the training and I feel like an old man, haha! I think that I'm in serious need of massage to get rid of the stiffness. Anyways, it was very nice to run alongside the coast and then enter the forest to finally arrive at on of my favourite places in Karlshamn, a cape by a small marina. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the beautiful sunset, which totally made my day! :) I really like the swedish nature, particularly by night when everything is so calm and the only thing you can hear is the nature, the wind and the animals. Maybe I should live out in the nature when I get old, hehe...

Here's my latest work from the drawing class; a Chinese Dragon. Well, at least I tried to draw one and I'm fairly happy with how it turned out on the paper. But the eyes should've been yellow instead of red, I think. Maybe I should change it in Photoshop? hehe.. :P

For the second class, in the course how to draw and sketch, we got to draw more perspective; the view that is just outside the school on the other side. I specially focused on the clouds to make them look cool, and I think they are. This picture kinda looks evil... I wouldn't wanna live in that house, haha! :P

World of Warcraft - Battle Chest

What have I done!? Gaaaaahhh!!! I've turned to the dark side, to the fictional online world, to endless wasted nights! I've turned to the World of Warcraft! But why...? Yea, I keep asking myself this since I'm quite the anti-WoW-person that always has hated the game because it's a big bad game in which you repeat your actions all the time, don't really use any skill for playing it and it is full of immature idiots. But there are actually a couple of moments that are quite nice... well, I like to search for things in games and mine/gather stuff like treasures and wood and that is exactly why I bought the game. So that I can chop wood and gather stuff, haha! :P Yea, but it's fun and some of the environments is quite beautiful and mystic in the game but that's it! Nothing more is good about this game... I don't know what it says about me, buying a game so that I just can chop wood, so let's not go down that road shall we... ; )

And! I'm gonna get myself a pet in the game.. hehe.. I've heard that you can get yourself robotic squirrels as pets in this game, so why not!? Maybe I can create my own army of squirrels, haha! : )

Perspective Drawing

Today I went to the first session of the drawing course and it was nice. Apparently my teacher is an old artist with many years of experience and apparently he likes to talk too, a lot! haha.. : ) Anyways, today's assignment consisted of perspective drawing where we had to draw "AKK", which is a factory just outside the school in which food oils are manufactured. Well, here's the result.. My perspective isn't especially good, but I do like the way that I got the water to look alive with depth and I also like the soft and round curves in the clouds, although the clouds being very small and barely visible...

Fruit vs. Meat

Today has been a tiresome and long day... Why? Because I decided to have a quick lunch consisting of only fruit; grapes, peaches, apples, tomatoes and mushrooms. Sure it tasted really good but come on! How can vegetarians survive on only fruit and vegetables? No, I need meat to function properly... That is why I have bought some ingredients tonight so that I can make some tasty Tacooooos!!! It just happens to be that I'm a master-taco-chef! Yeah, that's right, It is I who make the best tacos around here! :D

Anyway, this week is going to be totally AWESOME! I started the course in chinese today and on thursday starts the course in how to draw. I'm also invited to Mr Stockhaus' party on saturday which will host a lot of party freaks that I will cheer with all night long! And on top of that, I'm gonna see my chinese friends in Karlskrona on friday and participate in a farewell party for Bob. My plan is to drink vodka on the chinese party and then on the next day, at the so called "Stockhaus party", take it easy and drink white wine with sparkles. Maybe I'll even put on my suit on saturday too, haha!... : )

hmmm... I'm thinking about watching the new Disney movie at the cinema; Wall-E. It seems to be a good and funny movie. I gotta start going to the cinema more often since it actually is really fun. But it's hard because I don't want to go on my own and people are too lazy and won't go to the cinema, they just download and watch movies at home.

A New Look

As you might have noticed, I've changed the logo because it's always nice to refresh oneself. And you also might have noticed that this text is in english, that's because my chinese friends shall be able to see my blog if they wish to do so. : )

This weekend was spent at my old friend Wejletorp's place where we hung out during the evenings. During the days we studied chinese with Lei Fei at school. We studied hard all weekend long and had some chinese food and pizza. Wejletorp and I also had some whiskey.. hehe.. All in all, a very productive weekend which we soon will have again.

I really have to get a digital camera so that I can upload some nice pictures since it's kinda empty here with just text and more text that goes on for forever...

Chinese Party

This Thursday I was supposed to learn some chinese but I ended up at a chinese farewell/welcoming party. I just have one thing to say about the party and that is: Chinese food is delicious! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...... :D
We drank som Glade Dansken beer which just happens to be one of my favourites and we also had some swedish "snus". : ) Thanks for a great party Bob, Kai, David, Lei Fei and Lai!

Today or rather this whole weekend will be dedicated to studying some chinese just for the fun of it. So now I'm off to school!

Back in School

Ja, så var första skoldagen på höstterminen 2008 avklarad! Kändes bra att komma tillbaks för att göra något med ens liv och det var även nice att träffa en massa sköna snubbar igen. Japp, Campus Karlshamn med dess tvåor äger fanemej! :) Den nya kursen kommer bli intressant att läsa fast den är något flummig och svår att få ett ordentligt grepp om. Men vad gör det, det kommer ändå att bli kick ass!

För er som inte vet vem eller snarare vad Domokun är så ta en titt på logon längst upp på sidan; det är den lille lurvige figuren med de vassa tänderna. Och NEJ, Domokun är inte larvigt... Domokun är awesome...

Har tvättat, dammsugit, diskat och allmänt röjt upp i lägenheten idag så nu ser det rikitigt nice ut. Men jag skulle behöva en rullgardin, en schysst tavla och lite annat smått för att få till den ultimata lägenheten.

A New Dawn

Semestern börjar lida mot sitt slut och skönt är väl det, då jag är sugen på att komma igång igen. Mina 10 straffveckor på ABB har gett mig en mindre förmögenhet att investeras i... mig själv, hoho, och mina 2 semesterveckor har gett mig både vila och bakfylla.. Men än är det inte slut! En sista ljuvlig semesterhelg återstår och den skall offras till ära i den stora fyllegudens namn! Har för övrigt lyckats klämma i mig cirka 55 öl under min ledighet och då återstår det en helg kvar, hehe..

Utöver helgens öldrickande så kommer jag även tillägna lite tid åt skräck i form av spel och film. Filmen Silent Hill och spelet The Suffering är härliga mörka äventyr där ond bråd död väntar, hohohohoho... Är även sugen på mer skräck i form av nya Siren-spelet och filmen Outpost. Har ni några tips på annan bra skräck så hör av er! :)

När väl skolan går igång igen så blir det fullt ös! Utöver grundutbildningen i medieteknik som börjar med en case-kurs så ska jag även under denna termins lopp läsa en kurs i skissteknik kvällstid och en distanskurs i kinesiska. Nu kanske man får plugga lite för en gångs skull... Varför? Jo, skisstekniken för att det är bra att kunna göra egen concept art och kinesiskan för att det är i Kina framtiden ligger, både professionellt och privat! Och allt detta självklart för att det är superkul och att man utvecklas av utmaningar! :D Inför kursen i kinesiska så har jag även garderat mig då jag har lärt känna två utbytesstudenter från Kina som kommer fungera som mina privatlärare. Great success med andra ord!

Har beställt lite kurslitteratur för en 600-700 pistoleros också. En bok om casemetodik och problembaserat lärande, en bok om grunderna i teckning, en bok om hur man ritar helvetesmonster och slutligen en övningsbok i kinesiska. Och självklart är ju varenda film och spel jag köper även det kurslitteratur i och med att man kan dra en massa inspiration ur dom! :)

Nä, nu är klockan 15.38, dags att käka frukost... Eller som danska D.A.D. (Disneyland After Dark) skulle ha sjungt i deras superhit; -I'm sleeping my day away...

FREEEEEDOOOOM!!! Efter 10 veckor på den hårda straffanhalten ABB ute på isolerade Verkö, Karlskrona, så har jag slutligen avtjänat mitt straff!
Mitt brott?
Oskyldigt straffad! Ville bara ta det lugnt och inte störa någon i mitt alldagliga liv... men icke! Jag sattes på ABB för att göra nytta i samhället och samtidigt tjäna fina pengar på att jobba 5-skift!

Fast å andra sidan så kunde det ju ha varit mycket värre... hoho...

Man spelar denna något Edward Scissorhands-handikappade stridsrobot som börjat se sig själv som en individ och drar runt på äventyr i galaxen på jakt efter upplevelser och typ prylar medans han samtidigt flyr de elaka krigsgubbarna som vill ha tillbaks honom som soldatslav.. Skulle kunna bli en hit! :)

Detta är det enda jag lyckats åstadkomma idag på jobbet... I en kombination av att produktionen stod stilla pga. tekniska fel och skills i att gömma sig från arbetsuppgifter så passade jag på att vara lite kreativ med lite plåtband och en plåtsax... hoho! :)

The Dark Knight

Såg The Dark Knight på bio i söndags och kan verkligen rekommendera den. Jag var lite rädd för att Batman skulle vara uttjatat nu när den sjätte(?) filmen visades och att återanvändningen av gamla skurkar skulle krocka med storyn från första Batman-filmen, men så var icke fallet lyckligtvis. Istället tyckte jag man lyckades blåsa nytt liv i Batman med en fortfarande mörk atmosfär fast något verkligare istället för Tim Burtons något mer fantasifullare vision av Gotham City och kriget mellan dess kriminella element och Batman. Det enda jag skulle vilja klaga på är... *SPOILER ALERT* Harvey "Two Face" Dent vars ansikte var överdrivet datoranimerat och fick honom att mer se ut som att han var från en skräckfilm. Hur som helst, Jokern ägde och lyfte helt klart filmen med en psykotisk personlighet som aldrig kändes överspelad och samtidigt var humoristisk och intressant att ta del utav. Kan även tillägga att Eric Roberts från Best of The Best-filmerna var med som maffiabossen. Inget märkvärdigt med det då han inte var så jävla vass utan mest trist men ändå, i Best of The Best ägde han iallafall!... :)

Efter denna filmen så skulle jag vilja se en uppföljare med en ny tolkning av superskurken Gåtan som senast spelades av Jim Carrey i Batman Forever. Hade varit trevligt om man vågade införa nya superskurkar också, superskurkar som inte figurerat i den gamla serien eller serie-tidningarna, utan helt nya. Detta är givetvis väldigt svårt att göra bra, men ändå, kan ju inte vara helt omöjligt... Batman är helt klart coolast, störst, bäst och vackrast när det gäller superhjältar och fjollor som Superman och Spiderman kan sticka hem och köra upp sina superkrafter någonstans. Batman är trots allt en vanlig människa, dock med lite lagom vriden personlighet och en massa high-tech-prylar till sin hjälp.

Och ja just det! När du ser filmen, drick inte för mycket cola, längden är nämligen 2 h och 30 min... lätt att kissa på sig då... ;P

Chinese Cooking

Fick lära mig lite hur man tillagar klassisk kinesisk mat som för övrigt är hur gott som helst! :) Min polare Xiao Le kom över och tillsammans tillagade vi tre olika rätter; 1. Stekta och tärnade kycklinglår i potatismjöl med ingefära, socker, vårlök och någon svart och mystisk salladsalg. 2. Stekt biff med tomater, ketchup, socker och ingefära. 3. Köttsoppa med alger, potatismjöl och svamp. Det var förvånansvärt enkelt att tillaga dessa rätter som var både intressanta och välsmakande. Nu är jag sugen på att lära mig flera kinesiska rätter. Skulle lätt kunna leva på enbart kinesisk mat! Xiao Le berättade att det finns en delikatessrätt där man enbart äter ansiktet på en stor fisk. Det är säkert gott men låter groteskt att äta ett ansikte!? :P Efter matlagningskursen så blev det filmer, chips, öl, vin och sprit! Är riktigt bakfull idag och spenderar dagen med en stor coca cola och några komedier såsom "Ali G indahouse" som är riktigt fjantig och dumrolig. :)

Filmerna vi såg var City Hunter och Twin Dragons, båda med Jackie Chan i hudrollen. Riktigt bra filmer med skön humor och häftig Kung Fu! I en scen i City Hunter så blir Jackie inkastad i en arkadmaskin och förvandlas till Chun Li från Street Fighter-spelen och hans motståndare förvandlas till Ken! Kul som fan och läckert filmat! :) Det enda som var lite jobbigt var att vi kollade på versioner med kinesiskt tal och inga undertexter så Xiao Le berätta lite vad dom sa. I Jackie Chan-filmer behöver man egentligen inte förstå vad dom säger fast en del skämt missar man ju förståss. På lördag blir det mer kinesisk film, fast då på tv med undertexter. :) Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon och en annan rulle visas då på världens bästa kanal, 6'an.

Har fixat programmet PPStream med vilket man kan streama kinesiska filmer direkt från nätet. Det var så vi såg

Naked Killer och Twin Dragons. Så nu kan jag kolla på hur mycket kinesisk film som helst, wuuhooow!! :D För var dag

som går så blir jag bara mer och mer sugen på att åka till Kina. Om man jobbar ett par månader i Norge och tjänar ihop runt 400000 kr (man tjänar sjukt bra i Norge, speciellt om man jobbar med fisk) så kan man köpa en herrgård och en lyxbil och leka miljonär resten av livet i Kina! hehe.. miljonär i Kina.. vääääldigt lockande faktiskt.

Krigaren på bilden är Qin Ming "Thunderbolt" - Banditarméns tredje general i boken Outlaws of the Marsh som spelserien Suikoden baserats på. Outlaws of the Marsh är bok som baserats på myter, legender och även historiska fakta och handlar om en liten banditarmé - 108 stars from heaven som gör uppror mot ett korrupt kejsardöme för att göra det rätta och utföra plikten vilket är var mans skyldighet som människa. Boken betraktas som ett av Kinas största litterära verk tillsammans med tre andra böcker och skrevs för runt 650 år sen och jämförs som en kinesisk version av Homers Odyssey. Vad som gör boken intressant är dess 108 hjältekaraktärer som bjuder på djup karaktärsutveckling, martial art, strider, magi, taktik, kärlek och inte minst av allt en inblick av Kina för väldigt länge sen. Outlaws of the Marsh kommer inom en snar framtid stå i min bokhylla och inom 2 år så borde jag ha hunnit läsa ut den. Jag läser väldigt sakta och verket är på över 1200 sidor! Jag har inte läst ut Alexandre Dumas 1300-sidors mastodontverk The Count of Monte Cristo än och den boken köpte jag för ungefär 4 år sen.. :P Men men, jag har inte bråttom... =) Har dock hunnit läsa en massa andra böcker och är snart klar med Terry Pratchett's The Colour of Magic - den första Discworld-boken. Kan rekommendera The Colour of Magic som handlar om en dryg trollkarl vid namn Rincewind och hans förmåga att ständigt försätta sig i jobbiga/farliga situationer.

Art book'en med art från Okami kom idag, den är kick ass! Så avslutningsvis bjuder jag på en bild på en liten Okami-hund som är awesome! =)

Hemlös No More!

Japp! Är inte hemlös längre! Tydligen så kan jag fortsätta ha Martin och Idas lägenhet sista arbetsveckan och under natthelgen som börjar idag kommer jag att pendla från Karlshamn så jag kommer ha tak över huvudet hela sommaren! Wohoouuw!!! Great Success med andra ord! :D

Maiden T-shirt och Okami Art Book

Beställde lite "livsnödvändiga" grejer... :) I och med att jag inte köpte någon Maiden t-shirt på konserten i Göteborg eller har någon sedan tidigare så tänkte jag att det var dags att skaffa en. Denna Can I Play With Madness t-shirt kostade 170 kr (inkl. frakt) från Play.com i UK.

Boken till höger är en art book med konceptbilder från spelet Okami. Tänkte det kunde vara coolt att ha en art book från ett häftigt spel nu när jag ska lära mig teckna. Att jag valde Okami kan dock ha varit ett märkligt val då det är väldigt vackert tecknat och säkerligen ganska svårt att få till något liknande men man ska ju sikta högt.. =)

Var även nära på att köpa några spel; Odin Sphere, Final Fantasy XII och Rogue Galaxy, men när ska jag ha tid över att spela de mastodont-rpg'na!? Nä, kanske skulle ta bort plasten från Okami först och åtminstone testa det innan art book'en kommer. För övrigt så finns det bara ett sant rpg för mig och det är Suikoden II..

Hemlös

Den 31:a juli är sista dagen jag har Martin och Idas lägenhet i Karlskrona sen får jag pendla från Karlshamn ett par dagar för att slutligen ställas inför ett riktigt stort problem... hemlöshet!
Några av de sista arbetsdagarna arbetar jag så pass sent att jag inte kommer kunna ta mig tillbaka till Karlshamn och då sitter jag där i skiten med ingenstans att ta vägen.
Trodde jag kunde ta gamle Wejletorps lägenhet men det är inte förrens långt senare som han åker till svettiga Spanien.
Nödplanen lyder: Campa i skogen bredvid ABB! Japp, fattigt, jag vet.. Men vad fan ska man göra?.. Ett tält, en sovsäck, några tonfiskskonserver och ett par liter vatten överlever man förhoppningsvis på.. hehe...

Om du har en lya i Karlskrona och "behöver" en inneboende under cirka 1-1,5 veckor så ställer jag upp för dig, haha! ;)

Iron Maiden i Göteborg 2008

Då var man tillbaka i Karlskrona från en helsvettig superhelg i Göteborg som innehöll ölande, goda vänner, guitar hero, Liseberg, Avenged Sevenfold och Iron Maiden! Kick ass med andra ord! ;D

Låtlistan var riktigt grym men jag måste erkänna att flera låtar som jag inte hört tidigare spelades, men de var som sagt helsköna och det är nu på tiden att jag bekantar mig ytterligare med Maidens grymma musik, dvs konstant Maiden-lyssnande det närmaste halvåret! Vid nästan varje låtbyte så byttes de välgjorda kulisserna ut och lamporna ändrade färg och styrka vilket skapade en mysig stämning som lös med sin närvaro under hela spelningen. Avenged Sevenfold som var ett av förbanden var även grymma och något som man bör gräva ner sig i...

Runt 56000 Maiden-nissar bevittnade det episka musikslaget som lämnade mig med men för livet, Maiden Mania! Något som var riktigt coolt var när alla gjorde vågen på Ullevi och lät det gå runt flera varv. Mäktigt! När sedan spelningen var slut så strömmade det ut festglatt folk med öl i tankarna som snabbt täckte avenyn.
Sex timmars tågande till Göteborg och lika många timmar hemåt blandat med alldeles för lite sömn har tagit ut sin rätt och jag känner mig nu som en zombie. Dock en glad zombie som äntligen tagit sin Maiden-oskuld!
För övrigt så trodde jag mig tycka om Göteborg väldigt mycket men så är dock inte fallet längre. Jag tycker fortfarande att det är en mysig stad för att vara så stor men tror inte att jag vill leva och jobba i den. Nä, då finns det bättre städer...
