That was yesterday is moving...

I'm thinking of stopping my blog here and instead continue bloging on MSN Spaces instead.
Why?
Because:

1. MSN Live Messenger and Spaces are nicely integrated with each other.
2. MSN Spaces handling of photos is excellent.
3. Why spread content between two blogs when I can gather everything in one place instead?
4. The way Blogspot handles text and images can sometimes be frustrating since it has some kind of bug or something that makes me MAD at Blogspot!
5. MSN Spaces has some features that Blogspot don't have.

So there you go! But do not fear! I'll keep coming with new content for all of you who still are interested in reading my blog (if anyone..)! :D

Work work...

I've been in school from 09.00 - 22.30 today working with my mod/level in Half-Life 2 and I'm totally exhausted! And on top of that my jacket got locked up in one of the classrooms so I had to walk home without it in the rainy and cold night... :( But I'm gonna warm myself with some warm tea now and after that I'll surely feel much better and refreshed.

I ordered some cool stuff yesterday... I can't wait til the stuff arrives in my mailbox!

1. "Itchy & Scratchy" t-shirt from the Simpsons show. The cat and the rat that always kill each other in cruel ways, hehe...

2. Mort by Terry Pratchett. The fourth book in the Discworld series. I only got the first book The Colour of Magic but I felt for jumping to the fourth book which is about Death taking on an apprentice who apparently is very lazy and clumsy.

3. Neuromancer by William Gibson. A high-tech cyberpunk sci-fi adventure! AWESOME! ;D I've wanted to read this book since I first heard about it when studying culture in college three years ago and now it will be mandatory to read the first chapter for the new oncoming course. This is an excellent opportunity for me to finally read this book that is considered as one of the leading in the sci-fi sphere and that also has influenced real life research in the field.

4. Megaman Zero Official Complete Works. I think this is a great way of becoming inspired while at the same time being able to practise drawing with the help of this cool book.

Absolute Vodka with tea

I had some drinks yesterday when visiting some of my Chinese friends. But the thing was that the drinks were a mix of Absolute Vodka and tea... hehe.. needless to say, the mixture was very special.. and I got drunk as usual... hehe..

Now I'm gonna take it very easy for the rest of the day.. I have some Pepsi Max left from yesterday, (great success!) :D

Sunday

sunday.. I hate sundays..

I just want to get out of here. I'm so bored of BTH (my university/college) right now that I could just leave it all.
I'm thinking of buying two calendars and merge them so that I can make a countdown until I finish my education. That way I can put up my countdown calendar on the wall and see the exact number of days until I become truly free and can embark on the greatest adventures of them all!!!
I'll be doing cool stuff all day long and have an interesting job! That's the rough plan and all the small details will eventually be filled in. The perfect recipe for awesomeness I'll say!
I'll have patience.. for now...

Red wine = blood

haha... throwing up after drinking lots of red wine makes it look like blood. It looked like someone had executed some animal in my bathroom after the party friday night.. ;D
I was really drunk... retarded drunk... hehe...

Studying and writing

I've been in school now for about five hours and during that time I've sat for four hours straight in front of the computer just writing on my story, cut scene script, some small gameplay mechanics and making graphics. Some of my class mates are ordering pizza so I'll be havin one too, with ham, chesse and mushrooms, a capricciosa! :D
My story is pretty good I think, but it's hard to make a good story and at the same time prepare it for interactive media. There are so many details that must work in order to make it belivable and fun. Hard work but creative and fun at the same time.

I'm getting more things done here than at home so I think that I'll stay here for a couple more hours. And when I finally get home I can have some tacos for supper tonight since I got left overs from yesterday.

I have to party this weekend since I never partied the weekend that was. I will explode out of misery if I can't have a party, and that is not good...

Well.. back to work now... ;P

Autumn

Autumn

The autumn is finally here with its rainy, foggy, dark and colorful days! Autumn is my favorite season because it is a pleasant time where everything calms down just before the winter arrives. I'm thinking about going out in the nature on a really long walk, just walking a thinking a lot..

I've felt sick today and just spent the time watching episodes of The X-Files which is one of my favorite series. I'm feeling a little blunt again these days..

Night Runner

I went out running yesterday night. Yea, I like to run in the night and especially in the dark and in the rain. Sure it can sometimes be pitch black when running in the forest by night but it's pretty cool. And, yea, sometimes I'm scared but I believe that this way of training is not only good for the body but also for the mind, mentally, that is. Let's look at running in the dark as a metaphor of being lost but in search for light. This then becomes an expression of myself through the setting and activity that could be seen as a struggle with no apparent goal within reach but that is still being fought because I have the power to do so... Hehe, well, I've probably read too many theoretical texts about mumbo jumbo... ;P
Anyways, it's very pleasant running in the rain in the middle of the night.. it calms my soul...

Running

I went out for some running/jogging and training this friday and it made me feel great! But now two days later I'm still very stiff from the training and I feel like an old man, haha! I think that I'm in serious need of massage to get rid of the stiffness. Anyways, it was very nice to run alongside the coast and then enter the forest to finally arrive at on of my favourite places in Karlshamn, a cape by a small marina. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the beautiful sunset, which totally made my day! :) I really like the swedish nature, particularly by night when everything is so calm and the only thing you can hear is the nature, the wind and the animals. Maybe I should live out in the nature when I get old, hehe...

Fruit vs. Meat

Today has been a tiresome and long day... Why? Because I decided to have a quick lunch consisting of only fruit; grapes, peaches, apples, tomatoes and mushrooms. Sure it tasted really good but come on! How can vegetarians survive on only fruit and vegetables? No, I need meat to function properly... That is why I have bought some ingredients tonight so that I can make some tasty Tacooooos!!! It just happens to be that I'm a master-taco-chef! Yeah, that's right, It is I who make the best tacos around here! :D

Anyway, this week is going to be totally AWESOME! I started the course in chinese today and on thursday starts the course in how to draw. I'm also invited to Mr Stockhaus' party on saturday which will host a lot of party freaks that I will cheer with all night long! And on top of that, I'm gonna see my chinese friends in Karlskrona on friday and participate in a farewell party for Bob. My plan is to drink vodka on the chinese party and then on the next day, at the so called "Stockhaus party", take it easy and drink white wine with sparkles. Maybe I'll even put on my suit on saturday too, haha!... : )

hmmm... I'm thinking about watching the new Disney movie at the cinema; Wall-E. It seems to be a good and funny movie. I gotta start going to the cinema more often since it actually is really fun. But it's hard because I don't want to go on my own and people are too lazy and won't go to the cinema, they just download and watch movies at home.

A New Look

As you might have noticed, I've changed the logo because it's always nice to refresh oneself. And you also might have noticed that this text is in english, that's because my chinese friends shall be able to see my blog if they wish to do so. : )

This weekend was spent at my old friend Wejletorp's place where we hung out during the evenings. During the days we studied chinese with Lei Fei at school. We studied hard all weekend long and had some chinese food and pizza. Wejletorp and I also had some whiskey.. hehe.. All in all, a very productive weekend which we soon will have again.

I really have to get a digital camera so that I can upload some nice pictures since it's kinda empty here with just text and more text that goes on for forever...

A New Dawn

Semestern börjar lida mot sitt slut och skönt är väl det, då jag är sugen på att komma igång igen. Mina 10 straffveckor på ABB har gett mig en mindre förmögenhet att investeras i... mig själv, hoho, och mina 2 semesterveckor har gett mig både vila och bakfylla.. Men än är det inte slut! En sista ljuvlig semesterhelg återstår och den skall offras till ära i den stora fyllegudens namn! Har för övrigt lyckats klämma i mig cirka 55 öl under min ledighet och då återstår det en helg kvar, hehe..

Utöver helgens öldrickande så kommer jag även tillägna lite tid åt skräck i form av spel och film. Filmen Silent Hill och spelet The Suffering är härliga mörka äventyr där ond bråd död väntar, hohohohoho... Är även sugen på mer skräck i form av nya Siren-spelet och filmen Outpost. Har ni några tips på annan bra skräck så hör av er! :)

När väl skolan går igång igen så blir det fullt ös! Utöver grundutbildningen i medieteknik som börjar med en case-kurs så ska jag även under denna termins lopp läsa en kurs i skissteknik kvällstid och en distanskurs i kinesiska. Nu kanske man får plugga lite för en gångs skull... Varför? Jo, skisstekniken för att det är bra att kunna göra egen concept art och kinesiskan för att det är i Kina framtiden ligger, både professionellt och privat! Och allt detta självklart för att det är superkul och att man utvecklas av utmaningar! :D Inför kursen i kinesiska så har jag även garderat mig då jag har lärt känna två utbytesstudenter från Kina som kommer fungera som mina privatlärare. Great success med andra ord!

Har beställt lite kurslitteratur för en 600-700 pistoleros också. En bok om casemetodik och problembaserat lärande, en bok om grunderna i teckning, en bok om hur man ritar helvetesmonster och slutligen en övningsbok i kinesiska. Och självklart är ju varenda film och spel jag köper även det kurslitteratur i och med att man kan dra en massa inspiration ur dom! :)

Nä, nu är klockan 15.38, dags att käka frukost... Eller som danska D.A.D. (Disneyland After Dark) skulle ha sjungt i deras superhit; -I'm sleeping my day away...
